OBLIQUE👶🏽hasn’t finished the rotation yet or keeps popping back up into this position. What to do?
.
🔶This one is for 38+ weeks with an oblique baby.
.
🔷Loosen up the thighs by gently wiggling them. Your partner will need to help you with this technique. At least 5 minutes each leg. Place block between stacked knees and stacked ankles.
🔷Deep squat hold practicing diaphragmatic breathing with isometric hold into inner thighs. Assisted deep squat hold works too.
🔷Deep squat hip openers. Another option is sitting on toilet with knees higher than hips.
🔷Hip rockers sets of 10-15 each leg
🔷Lateral lunges kneeling, standing or on birth ball
.
🔶It’s all above loosening up the top of pelvis and mid pelvis to encourage baby to put their head down there. Practice daily!

40% of👶🏽will still be breech at 32 weeks. This is normal. 96-97% of👶🏽will find their way head down the last 6-8 weeks of pregnancy.

💥Our society has a bad outlook on breech babies being born vaginally. Why? It’s a lost skill set that is no longer trained in the medical field. When one has no training or knowledge in a subject it is feared.

🤰🏻Expecting moms are scared into cesarean birth with a breech baby because the provider does not have the skill set and they fear the process.

🌟Breech baby is a variation of normal and can be born vaginally with a provider competent and comfortable in the skill set.

👏🏻You can encourage your baby to be head down by creating space for baby during pregnancy. Baby knows instinctively to be head down. Variations are shown in this video to choose the ones that you feel works best for you.
